ASTANA. June 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan's saiga antelope population has grown by nearly 18% over the past year to approximately 4.7 million, despite a government culling program and a harsh winter that slowed the rate of increase, the Kazakh Association for Biodiversity Conservation said Friday.
