Emergency shutdown at TPP in Syrdarya affects Uzbekistan's power supply

TASHKENT. Sept 25 (Interfax) - An emergency shutdown of 1.6 GW of capacity occurred on Friday at a new thermal power plant (TPP) belonging to the French company EDF in Uzbekistan's Syrdarya region, the Uzbek Energy Ministry's press service said.
