ASTANA. July 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Chinese conglomerate Guoyou Materials Industry Group plans to build the first phase of a multifunctional terminal at Kazakhstan's Kuryk port on the Caspian Sea, a project that aims to sharply expand the country's freight capacity, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said after meeting the company's chairman in Shanghai on Thursday.
