Couple convicted for using donations for their son's treatment to buy apartments, cars, and gambling
ASTANA. Jan 9 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Interdistrict Criminal Court of Astana has found the Totakanov spouses guilty of illegally collecting charitable donations for the treatment of a sick child and sentenced them to seven years in a penal institution, the court's press service reported.
