Former Almaty deputy mayor Babakumarov dies after fight in Astana

ASTANA. Oct 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Yerzhan Babakumarov, a former deputy mayor of Almaty and ex-head of the President’s Central Communications Service, has died from injuries sustained in a fight in Astana on Wednesday night, the Astana police department’s press service reported.
