Kazatomprom to establish joint venture for uranium mining in Jordan

ASTANA. Aug 27 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan’s national atomic company, Kazatomprom, will form a joint venture with the Jordanian Uranium Mining Company to develop uranium deposits in Jordan, the sovereign wealth fund Samruk-Kazyna announced Wednesday. The agreement is set to be signed during an official visit by Jordan’s King Abdullah II.
