Kazakhstan's Ulba Metallurgical Plant may produce fuel pellets for VVER-1200 reactors

ALMATY. June 16 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan’s Ulba Metallurgical Plant (UMP) in Ust-Kamenogorsk could become a production site for fuel pellets used in Russian VVER-1200 reactor assemblies, the press service of Kazakhstan’s Atomic Energy Agency announced on Monday.
