ASTANA. April 22 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakh authorities have imposed a 739.6 million tenge ($1.42 million) fine on the Karachaganak Petroleum Operating (KPO) consortium for environmental violations involving 264 metric tonnes of unauthorized emissions at the Karachaganak field in northwest Kazakhstan.
