Over 1,200 villages at risk of flooding as spring thaw approaches

ASTANA. Feb 13 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan’s Minister of Emergency Situations, Chingis Arinov, has reported that 1,223 residential areas are currently located in flood-prone zones.
