ALMATY. Feb 7 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan-based banks and exchange offices sold 47,395 gold bars with a total weight of 1.7 tonnes in the twelve months of 2024 or an increase of 6.3% compared with 2023 when the residents of Kazakhstan bought 38,729 gold bars, weighing 1.6 tonnes, the National Bank said in a Friday press release.
