KazMunayGas and CNPC subsidiary to test enhanced oil recovery technologies in Pre-Caspian Basin

ASTANA. Dec 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan’s national oil company, KazMunayGas (KMG), and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (CNODC), a subsidiary of CNPC, are jointly exploring prospective petroleum reservoirs on the eastern edge of the Pre-Caspian Basin, KMG’s press service announced.
