KMG and CNPC’s subsidiary will carry out oil and gas exploration projects in west Kazakhstan

ALMATY. Oct 28 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - National Company KazMunayGas (KMG) and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Company Ltd. (CNODC), a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), have signed a confidentiality agreement and a plan for joint geological exploration in the eastern part of the Caspian basin in the Aktobe region, KMG said in a press release.
