Almaty airport expands capacity sixfold to 14 million passengers annually

ASTANA. July 8 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The passenger capacity of Almaty International Airport has increased sixfold, from 2.5 million to 14 million travelers per year, following the opening of a new terminal, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced Monday.
