New edition of Kazakh constitution updates foreign policy principles

ASTANA. Jan 30 (Interfax) - The draft of a new Kazakh constitution updates fundamental principles of foreign policy, clarifies provisions on current legislation, and replaces the notion of a "republic's referendum" with a "nationwide referendum," Kazakh Constitutional Court Deputy Chairman Bakyt Nurmukhanov said.
