ASTANA. Jan 30 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Despite measures taken by the authorities, Kazakhstan has yet to achieve a steady slowdown in inflation, and price dynamics in January will test the effectiveness of the mix of tight monetary policy and administrative controls. Analysts surveyed by Interfax-Kazakhstan expect annual inflation to accelerate to 12.3%-12.7% by the end of the month, citing persistent demand pressure, tax changes and structural factors.
