Russia expects big deficit at start of year amid shortfall in oil and gas revenue

MOSCOW. Jan 21 (Interfax) - Russia might have a substantial federal budget deficit at the beginning of the year due to a shortfall in oil and gas revenues and large advances on expenditures, Deputy Finance Minister Vladimir Kolychev said.
