ASTANA. Dec 26 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – 2025 became a year of challenges for Kazakhstan's oil industry. The country simultaneously achieved record production volumes, completed major investment projects, and expanded its export geography, while at the same time increasingly confronting the limits of its control over the sector. Even with high production discipline, output growth, and active route diversification, the stability of the oil and gas sector is increasingly determined not by domestic decisions but by external factors.
