Kazakhstan toughens penalties for violence against healthcare workers

ASTANA. Dec 25 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) — Kazakhstan’s parliament passed a law Thursday imposing stricter criminal penalties for violence and threats against medical personnel and ambulance drivers. The legislation now awaits the president’s signature.
