Shymkent theater director arrested over 136 million tenge embezzlement

ASTANA. July 9 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The director of a theater in Shymkent, a major city in southern Kazakhstan, has been arrested on suspicion of embezzling large sums of public funds, according to the country’s Financial Monitoring Agency (FMA).
