Kazakhstan to rename 500 streets to honor WWII heroes ahead of 80th victory anniversary

ASTANA. April 24 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Kazakhstan will rename over 500 streets nationwide to honor local heroes of World War II, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev announced Thursday, as the country prepares to mark the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War victory.
