Earthquake hits southern Kazakhstan, damages buildings in Zhambyl Region

ALMATY. March 28 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - An earthquake struck southern Kazakhstan's Zhambyl region early Friday, with tremors ranging from 2 to 5 on the intensity scale reported in nine populated areas, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
