VAT threshold reduction to 15 mln tenge a year will not affect small businesses – economy minister

ASTANA. March 5 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – As many as 1.7 million individual entrepreneurs in Kazakhstan fall under a simplified tax regime and the annual income of about 85% of these entrepreneurs is below 15 million tenge, so the proposed amendments to the Tax Code will not adversely affect the businesses, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Economy Serik Zhumangarin said.
