Ex-deputy mayor of Aktau Sadvakasov detained in Uzbekistan and placed in detention facility in Shymkent

ASTANA. Feb 27 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Timur Sadvakasov, a former mayor of Aktau, who was on wanted list, has been extradited from Uzbekistan and is now in Shymkent, south Kazakhstan, the press service of Kazakhstan’s Financial Monitoring Agency said in a Thursday press release.
