Kazakhstan government to acquire stake in private energy companies if owners fail to fund modernization

ASTANA. Jan 24 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The government of Kazakhstan will acquire a stake in private energy companies if their shareholders are unable to finance production modernization, according to Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbayev.
