Kazakhstan toughens punishment for drug production

ASTANA. Dec 19 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Senate, the upper chamber of Kazakhstan’s parliament, adopted on Thursday the Law on Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Counter Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Drugs, Psychotropic Substances and Their Precursors.
