Otbasy Bank proposes ending bonuses for unused housing deposits

ASTANA. Dec 10 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - Otbasy Bank, a cornerstone of Kazakhstan’s housing programs, has proposed changes to how government bonuses on housing deposits are managed. The bank plans to stop awarding bonuses to depositors who withdraw their savings without using them to purchase a home, even after completing the three-year minimum savings period.
