Russian watchdog temporary bans imports of agricultural products from Kazakhstan over biosecurity concerns


ASTANA. Oct 18 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) has announced temporary restrictions on the import of several agricultural products from Kazakhstan, including tomatoes, peppers, melons, wheat, flax seeds, and lentils. Restrictions also apply to sunflower seeds intended for planting, imported from third countries.
