Kazakhstan has not received request from Russian watchdog to suspend issuance of phytosanitary certificates for melons


ALMATY. Oct 7 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Agriculture has denied reports that Rosselkhoznadzor, the Russian federal service for veterinary and phytosanitary surveillance, sent an official letter asking to suspend the issuance of phytosanitary certificates for melons grown in Kazakhstan, the press service of the ministry told Interfax-Kazakhstan.
