Referendum on Kazakhstan's nuclear power plant to require over 50% voter turnout to be valid

ASTANA. Sept 3 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The national referendum on the construction of a nuclear power plant in Kazakhstan will be considered valid if more than 50% of registered voters participate, according to Konstantin Petrov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
