District governors and city mayors in Kazakhstan to be elected by direct suffrage from 2025
ASTANA. Sept 2 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) – The governors of districts and the mayors of large cities in Kazakhstan will be elected only by direct suffrage starting from next year, President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said.
