Hydrogen sulfide emission occurs at large Uzbek gas field, local residents evacuated - Energy Ministry

TASHKENT. Sept 2 (Interfax) - An emission of hydrogen sulfide has occurred at the 25 Years of Independence natural gas deposit in Uzbekistan's Surxondaryo region, and local residents who live near the accident site have been evacuated, the Uzbek Energy Ministry's press service said on Monday.
