EAEU, UAE plan to conclude main talks on free trade area by fall 2024

YEKATERINBURG. July 9 (Interfax) - The member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) "will be working to secure a substantive conclusion to their negotiations" on a free trade area agreement in the fall of 2024, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) said in a statement on its website following a meeting between the commission's Trade Minister Andrei Slepnev and UAE State Minister for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi on the sidelines of the Innoprom 2024 exhibition.
