Qatari holding acquires Tele2 and Altel for $1.1 billion

ASTANA. June 18 (Interfax-Kazakhstan) - The Qatari holding Power International Holding has acquired Mobile Telecom-Service LLP, the owner of ALTEL and Tele2 operators, for $1.1 billion, according to the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovation, and Aerospace Industry.
